VALTTERI BOTTAS proved he is desperate for the F1 season to start by wearing his helmet for a sun-kissed workout with his new girlfriend.
The Mercedes driver, 30, and cyclist Tiffany Cromwell have been enjoying the sights on the Mediterranean island of Corsica.
But Finnish star Bottas showed his head was elsewhere as he exercised in his racing helmet.
The pair, who went public with their relationship in February, were seen doing a couples workout on the Honor Quay in Calvi.
Bottas wore a blue vest and black shorts in addition to the bulky helmet, while Cromwell wore a grey vest and purple short shorts.
They performed a gruelling ab workout and Bottas filmed his girlfriend while she exercised before the happy couple shared a kiss.
Bottas – who is Lewis Hamilton’s team-mate – split from ex-wife Emilia last November due to “challenges my career and life situation bring”.
But it did not take him long to get back in the driving seat with his relationships by going public with 31-year-old Australian Tiffany just four months later.
Bottas posted a photo of himself and Tiffany in millionaire’s playground Monaco on Valentine’s Day with the caption: “Haters gonna hate.”
The pair have been enjoying their own ‘Tour de Corsica’ on this break by cycling round the island.
Cromwell posted a series of photos on her Instagram with the caption: “The 3rd and final ‘stage’ of our ‘Tour de Corsica’ adventure ride.
“Another incredible day of riding on beautiful and quiet roads through amazing scenery, and finished off with more incredible views of this island from the sea.
“Perfect little cycling escape with @valtteribottas and still so much left to explore for another time.”
F1 will finally start on Sunday week with an eight-race campaign kicking off in Austria.
The first 10 races were cancelled due to the coronavirus outbreak.
